Studio Hire

I have just found a studio to hire and it's only £17 per hour. It includes all lighting and backdrops etc. Only thing is I've never been in a studio let alone been the photographer in it. I would really love to give it a go though, maybe shoot the kids or get some friends or whomever.

Have any of yourselves done something like this?

I've never heard of anything like this. I think it's a wonderful idea! I would totally take advantage of that! I think you have a clever idea to get your kids in there first. You can learn your way around!

This is great and worthwhile trying for a portrait session with kids! I don't have any advice though, sorry for the useless comment...

If I were you I'd just go there and play for the first hour, then get a patient adult to pose before you add in all the randomness of Children..Shooting the kids might be a bit excessive though!

@kirsty1975 I tried a DIY Home Studio set up with backdrops, stand, few lights and umbrellas and it's going great, give it a shot and show us some pics! =)
