I started doing some maths with this, trying to figure out from my own top 10 in a sort of "how many views is a comment worth" and "how many views is a 'favourite' worth" but... not much came of it. I think it's time-based too, so any kind of reverse engineering from the data presented is going to be either very hard, or impossible.
Don't waste too much energy trying to figure it out. It is a secret arcane formula. Just enjoy taking and displaying your photos, reading the comments and following the work of others. Believe me, you'll be mush happier in the long run.
