Developing Your Pictures

I want to develop some pictures and get some good quality enlargements too. Where do you get yours done? (Sorry if this has already been covered on here...) If there are sites that you don't recommend, please let me know those too!! Thanks!

It's no good for you over there, but I'd recommend photobox for Europeans. I've never had trouble, and if you order before 5pm (ish) they're on your doorstep the following morning. One of my enlargements got creased in the post, and they printed off another for me within 24 hours and free of charge (so now I have 2 copies - one perfect, and one which is actually ok (ish)).

Agree with Elin for Europe. Sorry don't know anything your way. I've had photos printed on canvas there too and they have turned out exceptionally well.

@lluniau - thanks Elin! Maybe I could forward them to friends in the UK and have them send them to me.... Hmmm, possibility...!

I also should have said that I'm currently in the US...

Any other great sites?

mpix/miller's are the best. I have had luck with winkflash for enlarged photos. Great price and good quality for framing. Winkflash is picky about the size of jpeg for size of photo. Their smaller print qualities are not good though. Mpix is the best for that.

I use mpix, they do a great shop, love their metalic finish, they have some great sales thru the year, you upload your album and print whatever you want, and it tells you what sizes it recommends, so it makes your choices easy... they are very quick turn around... shipping is reasonable as well.

Kim, I'm a member of Costco's over on Savannah Hwy. I login on their and upload the pictures. They are cheap and will print most any size. I've had several enlargements done on poster board. You don't pay until you pick them up at the store.

Kim
Hey Kim, I used to upload to Ritz as they have a store close to me (they were good as you can upload online) but now I use Costco all the time. They do wonderful enlargements and as an avid scrapbooker I can even get 8x8 or 12x12 sizes. I have also used Winkflash too and they were OK. Good luck :)

I tend to go to my regular camera store if I want a few enlargements, just because what I see on my laptop screen isn't always what you get when you have them printed. The camera store guy has one of those high tech screens and makes sure that the colors are what I want them to be before he starts to print.
