I am taking some pregnancy photos for someone next week. I have done these plenty of times, but looking for some different, more unique ideas. Nothing too risky or naked, just some fun & cute shots. If anyone has any photo ideas to share with me I would appreciate it! Thanks!
I have some pregnancy shots on my project, I like descrete tasteful nudity, no nipples on show or anything like that. As a midwife I think that pregnant women are glorious in all their glory!
@Amy what lens were you planning on using? What does everyone else use? I had a friend ask me to take maternity pictures for her as well. I'm glad you posted about this :)
I have: 35mm, 18-55mm, thinking about trying out the 50mm
@ashpanelli - the 50mm (either f/1.8 or f/1.4) is the portrait lens of choice for crop sensor cameras (like your Nikon D3000). You will not be disappointed (especially for the price)
@ashpanelli I use 24-70 f/2.8 for maternity shoots. I love, love, love 50mm primes (I use an 85mm f/1.2 on my full-frame camera), but I find them too limiting for this particular kind of work. Both the Nikkor and Canon 24-70 lenses are superb.
