I have so many it is hard to choose. Here goes.
My large fluffy cat playing pirate.
Saturday Night Poker. This one is getting published in a page a day calender for 2013.
They weren't born they were hatched!
This is just a small sample of the many I have. I will confess. I started a 365 project at the beginning of the year with the cats as my same subject. I failed ending after only 47 photos. I am back for round two, my subject this time is a small aqua colored bottle. That hasn't stopped me from still using the cats for some shots. Here are 2 from my new project.
One of my favorites of my pet, Booger. A few weeks after my other cat had passed, we heard a meow from my basement so we went to check it out, and we found this adorable kitten, we weren't going to keep him but he grew on us! the vet told us he might not survive since he doesn't have is mothers nutrients, but we fed him from a syringe till he was old enough to eat on his own, and he grew up to be an extreamly smart crazy cat who tares my blinds down to wake me up and follows me everywhere :D
These are not my pets, but rather some friends' pets I shot photos of a few months ago. They really loved these photos, which made me happy cause it was my first attempt at pet photography.
I wish I had a cat or a dog or even a cool reptile. I do have a turtle but it lives with my parents so I hardly ever see it which is quite sad. Here she is:
I've taken a fair few pics of my four cats for this project, but I think this is my fave because it's so 'her' (she's always gazing off into space) and I'm so proud of the DoF and focus that I achieved.
This is a picture of our dog, Bubbles, it has been a while since we had a dog because when my previous pets died, it was really hard to get over their deaths it was as if they were part of my family. So this dog is the new favorite of the whole family.
@manek43509 lol You gave me a good morning giggle....Blue,yes I have seen him before.....scrolled down and really laughed at your random giraffe (he belongs to a zoo!) lol :-)
My Lovely Pumpkin. Now living in Wales safe and far from the roads since getting hot on the head by a car on the main road in front of my house. He survived but forgot about the accident and kept up the chicken games! When I started my second year on 365 I decided to try and take fewer photos of my cats but did still take a few and dear Pumpkin got me on the Popular page twice for the first time!!
And into the final 5 of the theme-serenity. Another first ;oD
I have a black cat as well but find it so difficult to take decent photos of him. Going to visit Pumpkin at Christmas in Wales so I am sure he will appear on 365 again!so
Sometimes if I have nothing else creative to take a picture of, I will do some of the pets. But mine are so gorgeous, how could I resist snapping a pic or two ;)
Sorry to be a downer, but this is my only posted pet picture. Me telling my pet goodbye.
I had her almost two years. My hamster died suddenly during the night yesterday. Either because of the cold (It's really cold here) and she got a respiratory infection, or she died of old age. Their life span is 1 to 2 years (At least that's what the pet store told me.)
Well this is my pet, in her final journey. Goodbye Luna.
Our pet-rat Tumble. She sadly died today:( Ik was glad to find this pic, I happened to make on the 5th of December):
My sisters cat (She by the way, had nothing to do with Tumble dying:) :
