Just wanted to give a reminder to everyone
Moon
So we all think of photographing the moon when it is at its fullest, but to give us more of a challenge is to take a photo of the waning moon. This week starting on January 15th we go from a half moon to the tiniest of crescents on the 22nd.
The moon is also really great to shoot at dusk and dawn and can provide an amazing interest level to your photo. Also this is an opportunity to use editing skills, composition and finding trees, buildings, cranes, etc. to use in the foreground.

What Do You Hear
Now some of you may have weather issues that may make shooting the moon very difficult so we are offering an alternate challenge this week provided by Peter de Graaf is "What do You Hear" this can include what you are listening to or sounds. The task is to work on how you capture this so it works on your preparation and composition skills, and allows you to work on how to bring a concept into a photograph.

Klang
...is this the sound that the tintinnabulist sun makes at dawn when twilight pierces the gloom?
