I'm so honored to have won the Andy Goldsworthy artist challenge; there were so many great photos submitted. As I prepared to host the current challenge, I was disappointed to see that my two artist choices, Vivian Maier and Monet, had already been used in the past. I was prepared to select Degas until I saw the wonderful thread on Ben Heine started by @lorihiro today: http://365project.org/discuss/general/11238/ben-heine-artist-photographer.
His work is amazing and just plain FUN. I know some of us out there aren't artists, so why not also attempt the challenge using an old photograph or the like. I can't wait to see what creative ideas everyone can come up with!
The important stuff:
--challenge starts February 24th and ends March 9th (photos must be taken within this timeframe)
--I'll choose the 5 finalists and voting will begin March 10th
--please tag your photo artist_heine
Wow! So cool that you picked him! I am fascinated by his work! I can't wait to see all the masterpiece photos that get submitted! I am also a huge fan of Vivian Maier and Monet (his work inspired me to major in Art History).
Awesomeness Caryn! :-)
@cmc1200 I have loved looking at his art! Thank you for this! I'm getting ready to go to a gallery exhibition in Marfa, Texas. My niece,an artist in New York, is part of the presentation!
@fungirlslim I have an android so I'm not sure if it is also for iPhone, mine is 'Camera360 Ultimate' with no space, by PinGuo Inc. This was in an add on called 'Camera360: Fantasy Creative', both free...I'm not sure if the ultimate already includes the fantasy creative thing or not, but there is a tab for 'effects' or 'scenes' at the top when I open Camera 360 and these are under 'scenes'.
Awesomeness Caryn! :-)
Keep the entries coming, everyone!
