We've got an interesting theme this week, chosen kindly by our winner from last week Jeph with his photo "Old City Hall"
Jeph chose the theme of "Look, But Don't Touch", this should throw up some interesting photos.
To enter your photos tag them with the tag "theme-lookdonttouch" to view the entries this week - theme-lookdonttouch
We've always said that photos can only be uploaded during the week of the theme, due to quite a few questionable entries I'm going to be making the selection process a bit stricter and say that the photo MUST have been taken THIS week only! meaning if you take a photo a year ago and upload it, it will NOT be chosen, no matter how good it may be. That's not what these themes (or this project) is about, so no cheating!
To confirm, only entries taken and uploaded between Monday 19th July to Sunday 25th July 12 will be accepted.
awww man my photo for yesterday would have been perfect for the theme....it is a poisonous snake we found curled up in some tree roots at a creek :( oh well gotta keep my eye out for something else....
Thank you so much for getting stricter on this! I strive very hard to only upload photos that I have taken that day, not only for the theme, but for the entire project.
Theme sounds very interesting! Hope I can come up with something.
Interesting theme. I realized that the photo I uploaded earlier today fits the theme. Then I realized it is ineligible since it was uploaded on Sunday in the gray zone between the selection of last weeks winner and the start of the new week.
Now that I am back here after missing so many days, I am determined to keep up now. I agree, a little more 'discipline' is a good thing (especially for me! LOL!). Great theme- looking forward to the many interpretations.
err hmm for you London lot into these strange sounding places I have never heard of - what about the female contingent amongst us can we go too and what are these places????
I know you have to be a little picky on the dates, but I just want it out there that if you edit photos, sometimes the exif info isn't kept and the program will make it up for the first of that month it was created. Also camera dates can be off quite often... just some things to think about :)
Debbie, I noticed that my photos are all set for the 1st of the month... I just use a very simple photo software that came with one of my old cameras. It isn't fancy, but it does most of what I need, and then the rest I can do on picnik. I assumed that the weird date had something to do with the editing - glad its not just me!
i have a question. i want to make a post that includes photos, but i dont know how to post them to where the photos (not the URL) show up in the post. any help?
Theme sounds very interesting! Hope I can come up with something.
Congrats too Jeph
Not that I know what either of these are like of course.
I think you can look AND touch ...
