This challenge will begin today, Thursday May 10th and last through 11:59 pm on Monday 14th May EST (I'm in Australia). Entries must have been taken and uploaded during these times only! Entries outside of this date range will not be accepted. Voting will be held on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th May and I will post the winner on Thursday 17th!

This is how it works:
Go to the "Browse" section and then select the "By Tag" link. Close your eyes and randomly click on a tag. Do it again (no peeking)! These two tags are your photo assignment. You will then use your two randomly chosen tags as an inspiration to create one picture that encompasses them both! Please, clearly state your two tags when you post your entries, this will let us know what your assignment was and how well you were able to combine them.
Tag your entries as "tag-challenge38" so that I can find them. Feel free to share them in this thread so everyone else can see them too!
5 finalists will be chosen.
The winner will host the next challenge!!!

Dana, I've made black paper covers that go over the lens. There is a 1-1.5 centemeter hole in the front that allows focussed objects to remain in focus. Any out of focus light (ie bokeh) can be manipulated into desired shapes by changing the shape of the hole. I have made several shapes. The swirls I tried last night is an old cutout. It won't work for anyting except plain bokeh as the shape is not good. The hole needs to be open in the middle. Have other shapes that I am going to try tomorrow in the city.
I'm very impressed with the entries I have seen so far !! Going to be hard to pick just 5 finalists next week !! Great effort everyone and it is nice to see some clever takes on the interpretation of the tags.
