Album Challenge 7

July 4th, 2012
Many thanks to everyone who voted my pic the winner in the last challenge..

May as well get the next one up and running straight off!

This is how it works:

1. Go to wikipedia and hit 'random article' on the left. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2. Go to quotationspage.com and hit 'random quotes' on the left. Scroll down. The last 4-6 words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your album.

3. Now go take a photo that fits with your album!

4. Use your favourite editing program to create your cover.

5. Share your image (or images, you can do as many as you like) with us by tagging it with 'albumcoverchallenge7' !

This challenge will run until midnight 10 July GMT when I will choose my favourite selection for votes. There is no limit to the number of entries you can make, just make sure to tag them as instructed above.

To share an entry in the thread, go to your uploaded image and find the area under your photo data that says "Share". Copy the code from the box and paste it in the discussion thread here.

You can use a previously shot image or one you shoot just for this competition, but you MUST use your OWN images!!

Happy shooting, look forward to more creative entries by you all

@andycoleborn Wow, that would have been a great album!!
Love these challenges, but this time I've got
CargoLifter: Discovery of a new star.
"The discovery of a new dish does more for human happiness than the discovery of a new star." Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755 - 1826), Physiologie du Gout, 1825

Man oh man, can't quite see cargolifting going with food!

Werte Der Deutschen Heimat (trsl. values of the German homeland): Or... of Something Else

Really? Really?? lol I think that album might just get me booted from the site.

I haven't done one of these in ages, they are great fun too.
Anyway, here is my effort.

The full quote from James Thurber goes "There are two kinds of light--the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures."

Ok I'm going to try to create one as they always look like fun.

@michaelelliott Lol... That was my quote from last week.

So much for being random...
July 9th, 2012
@andycoleborn - you're sh%t'in me! Thats insane! I just went on line and followed your instructions. Its from Samuel Johnson "The world is not yet exhausted. Let me see something tomorrow which I never saw before."
July 9th, 2012
What should I do? Do it again for a different quote? Can't use the same one that won last week! Congrats by the way - I voted for you :)
July 9th, 2012
@michaelelliott haha I know crazy randomness eh..!! Nah.. go ahead and use it... It's what came up

Thanks btw :-)
July 10th, 2012
ok I tried it and this is what I got from my random search, it seemed to suit the shot of Patrick last week when we were playing with the torch.and 20 minutes to spare, phew

July 11th, 2012
ok Andy I went back and got new terms because I could not use the same one that you had last week. That was crazy! My article is "Living in the Danger Zone" and the qoute is "There are some defeats more triumphant than victories" from which I took the last 6 words.
