A friend told me about 365project and I signed up but am having trouble finding the photo of the day or theme of the day; whatever? Can some one tell me how to get started....????
I just started too, last week. Everyday you post a pic. That starts off you on the 365 project. To find the theme go to Discuss, Themes & Competition. At least thats what I do. Maybe someone more seasoned can help us both out.
Welcome, Jerry & Carol. As Carol said, go to Discuss>Themes & Competition. The themes are just for fun and are not any sort of requirement to participate in the 365 project. They often make the project a little more challenging and help give ideas and inspiration for subjects to shoot. The themes are open to your own interpretation, which is what makes them so interesting to follow. I usually try to get at least one or two shots each week that relate to the theme, but the rest are more of my daily stuff. Once you have a shot uploaded that you want to show along with the others who have participated in the the theme, you must tag the photo with the theme name. You can find those instructions on each weeks theme thread. (This week is {theme-repetition}). Hope this helps. Just dive in and you will get the hang of it!
HI Carol-Ann, even though I have only been a member for a week, I already feel like a regular here. Everyone has been so encouraging with thier comments, it makes me want to just keep plugging along. I am so happy to have found this group !!
