Congratulations to Michael @herr_mm, for winning the last abstract-mundane challenge. His photo of the hex key was amazing. I have offered to host this next challenge for Michael, so let’s get it started.
The Abstract-Mundane Challenge runs parallel with the Mundane Challenge, using the same object as chosen by the host of the Mundane Challenge. However, there is a distinct difference between the two. For the Mundane Challenge, the object must clearly be “the star” of the photo and recognizable. For the ABSTRACT-Mundane Challenge, the object should not be immediately recognizable - it should be far more abstract.
The screw was chosen for the Mundane Challenge, so that is the object we will be using. You have from now until the end of Friday, April 19th to take photos and post entries. On Saturday, I will post the finalists for voting. Please TAG them abstract-screw and feel free to include them in this thread. The winner of the challenge will be the next host. I look forward to seeing your photos! Have fun!
