Oh my goodness. I had no idea I won the ETSOOI 21 competition. Due to recent eye surgery, I have not been spending as much time on the 365 Project as usual, so I was not aware that I had won. I really do want to say a great big thanks to everyone who voted for my photo.
I have recently had surgery on my right eye to remove a cataract as some of you may know, this procedure also corrects vision to as close to 20/20 as possible. At this time, I have only had one eye done, and since I am, or was, very nearsighted this surgery has left me slightly unbalanced, visually speaking, since my eyes are not working together very well. I have tried knocking the right lens out of my glasses but this didn't really help much. My left eye will be done in a few weeks and then I should see much better than before, but until then I am finding it difficult, and not very enjoyable, to take and edit photographs. Luckily, none of these problems should interfere with hosting and judging the next ETSOOI competition.
For the next ETSOOI or "Edit the S... Out of It" competition I have chosen the theme "MOTION". You may interpret this word visual any way you wish. The only requirements are that your photos be edited beyond the usual cropping and enhancements and that they be taken within the timeline of the competition.
The competition will run from Monday 10/28/13 through Sunday 11/3/13. Then on the following Wednesday I will select six of the photos entered and offer them to all of you to vote for the winner.
@mromer No Meherzad. ETSOOI means Edit the sh't or sorry-ness out of it. In other words it SHOULD be edited a lot or kind of extreaml. This challenge is for people who like playing with photos in their editor, whether that be photoshop or some other editor, or for those who have been wanting a reason to try and learn to do more with their editors.
Just wanted to clarify did you mean to say "...photos NOT be edited beyond the usual cropping and enhancements ..."?
:o) hope your eye getting on okay carole & you not feeling too rough
