Artist challenge #62 Natsumi Hayashi, Levitating Photographer

I understand my choice of artist may appear to be quite restricting...but when you look at the rules of the artist challenge i hope you find it is not
I like that she is young, alive, and not so famous, and when you think about it, she is a lot like most of us, started with a photo a day...albeit levitating...oh and most of all fun

Soooo not gunna take responsibility for injuries, so I'm figuring if you have weak leg joints, there must be some crash test humans (or other) around in your life that you can make model for you.

Rules
Take a photograph recreating a particular work as closely as possible to the original or photograph something in a style that is reminiscent of the artists work- mood, light, composition, colour. Or you could just take a concept from the work and make it your own.

I love this! The vid of her work is especially lovely. I may try some, although I fell the other day, for no reason, so I may have trouble getting my brain to leap in sync with my body.

yippee, I will try to get my son to show me how to make a 3d version and post here, you have to cross your eyes, but its worth it

I hope people have discovered that on the http://yowayowacamera.com/ site the images are in 3d for cross-eyed viewing, they look so cool! She probably uses a 3d camera but there are ways to create this effect with processing. my son did one earlier in the year which he said uses the liquify tool in photoshop, (unfortunately his profile has been taken down through inactivity so i can't show you) still looking for a tutorial for that technique but here is a simple one that people could try http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/old-time-fun-how-to-make-3d-images-for-viewing-with-no-glasses/

@kali66 I forgot to mention that...but from distant memory she does it for real...2 cameras along side eachother ...I'm kinda curious myself if the same remote might trigger two cameras

@gigiz @kali66 I believe my Nikon can take these since it has 3D settings but I'll need to investigate. I also found an application for iPhones called Seene ( http://www.seene.co) {yes only .co}. If your browser is set-up for OpenGL (Safari, Firefox and Chrome) you can enable this in preferences and settings. It is interesting what is happening in the 3D area.

This is my take on it. These type of shots are so fun to look at. I did senior photos and he was a soccer player so I had a little spin to the challenge.
