I think it would be fun to try and out guess Ross on picking the top five photos for theme-blur.
Go through and review all the entries for theme-blur, post a link to your top pick. You don't have to limit yourself to just your top pic, but no more than five, please. Let's compare what we thought vs. Ross.
Please post a short comment on why you picked the entry that you did.
Okay, I'll post mine a little later after I look through them all.
hmmm fun idea. LOTS of entries though, I only looked through the first 10 pages. In no particular order, these are some of MY favorites (my own entry not included ;)
fun colors, love the lights
especially cool b/c it wasn't on purpose!
just cool colors
i like this one for the selective blur--the cars whiz by but the girl is still
Oh I'm on this. I always guess the ones he picks...he never picks mine though..what's up with that??? (lol)

I like this idea, however, I am a bit worried that these topics will influence the ones that Ross actually picks. I trust that Ross is an upstanding individual and tries his best not to be influenced, but it doesn't make it any easier on him.
For me the blur has to really add value in terms of creativity and significance. I picked about ten and it was immensely difficult to get these down to the top five, so this is more about outguessing Ross than 'my favs' of this theme:
better be careful, we might get stuck with this very difficult part of the program.
Hey, here is a thought, how would it be if the one that picks the theme is the one that does the judging??? That way it wouldn't be the responsibility od the same person.
@miranda Thank you for the comment on my photo! I didn't realize it was outside the dates...That's what I get for being in the US, it was still well before midnight here, and when I look at the details it tells me it was uploaded on the 24th, but when I am logged out it shows an upload date of the 25th...bummer. I've gotta remember those time zones! Lol.
@cheetah1713 I think yours is utterly brilliant and wish (and hope) they could bend the rules as you achieved stunning results. Actually, I thought my 'Fallen Pear' was out of date, as per my copy with that, but it is in date, both in terms of when I took it and when I uploaded it, but I had run out of date slots and it ended up sitting in the 25th slot, so I don't know whether that disqualifies me. That said, there are too many other that are way ahead of me, which would be the main disqualification for me!
@rrt That is a great idea. Ahem..Ross? Are you listening? :) It does seem like alot of the same people get picked again and again...no offense to anyone...there are just so many great photographers that seem to get overlooked. i am for a fresh perspective! something to change it up a little! :D

just caught my eye, thoughts of fun times :)
My fav 2nd place would be this one because of the bird-like way the leaves look in the blur:
My 3rd place choice is this because I know what this feels like to play music fast

Night blurs with light are always eye-catching, and this one is beautiful. Lots of energy
How did you do this?? Great technique at work here .
Creative technique and interesting piece. The fact that we're related has no bearing here .... I promise. :)
What a cool shot !! Love the energy, color and light!
Wait, that was hard. I wanted to post more, but i will stop with these 5.
.... for a little self-promoting! ;)
Red self-portrait
BEST Maple
BEST Specs & buttons.
BEST – sunset and thistle
better be careful, we might get stuck with this very difficult part of the program.

Melting was superb but outside of the dates: http://365project.org/cheetah1713/365/2010-10-24
Puppy blur – reminiscent of the futurist artist Giacomo Balla’s dachshund: http://365project.org/mary1440/365/2010-10-24
Confetti: http://365project.org/v_key/365/2010-10-21

Fake plastic tree – very difficult to exclude this beautiful picture: http://365project.org/saintbarry/365/2010-10-22
Glowing Gem, because the blur was used so well to emphasise the beauty of the communal-garden dandelion: http://365project.org/claudishel/floral-or-fauna/2010-10-20
Under my Umbrella – another hard one to exclude: http://365project.org/alisongbradshaw/365/2010-10-19
Fall décor – stunning and the blur made this an outstanding autumn colour pic: http://365project.org/slava/365/2010-10-18
Energy- brilliant use of blur to give that other worldly feel to a Goddess: http://365project.org/devanago/365/2010-10-20
I wish he would pick this one. :) Love it, Krissy!
This one is a winner! My personal blur favorite from Constance. I love Krissy's, too. This one just is just powerful.
Thanks for including my photo! Guess we'll have to see if Ross agrees! :)
I highly doubt i'll make it to the top 5 though lol
