Woohoo! It's time to get those thinking caps on for the Album Cover Challenge #26. My thanks to Debs Stott @dibzgreasley for hosting challenge 25. There were a host of great entries and I was gobsmacked that people chose mine out of all of the wonderful entries that were posted (I can give you the address of a great Optometrist because I think that it is time to get your eyes tested! :o))
Time stops for no-one so let's get cracking with competition #26, shall we?
For those of you who need a refresher or have never played before, this is how the challenge works:
1. Go to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) and hit "random article" on the left hand side (it's a link near the top). The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your musician(s) or band.
2. Go to Quotations (http://www.quotationspage.com) and hit "random quotes" on the left. Scroll down to the end of the page. The last 4-6 words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your album.
3. Now go and find (or take!) a photo of yours that fits the album name and artist(s). (Remember album covers are usually square.)
4. Use your favourite editing program to create your cover. You can use any image of yours for the album, old or new, but you must use your own images.
5. Enter your album(s) in the challenge by tagging it with “albumcoverchallenge26”
The challenge will run from today Monday March 24th until Saturday, April 5th at midnight, BST. All entries must be posted between now and then. There's no limit to the number of entries you can post; just make sure to tag them as instructed above.
On Sunday, April 6th the top five entries for you to vote for will be chosen. The closing date for votes will be midnight Wednesday, 9th April and the results will be announced on Thursday, 10th April. The entry with the most votes wins, and the winner gets to host Album Cover Challenge 27.
Why not share your entries with the rest of us by posting them on this thread? Don't forget to tag them as well or they won't get entered!
