I am so excited to be hosting the next Abstract-Mundane challenge. Thanks to all of you who voted for my Abstract Rock picture, my first winner in a competition! The subject of the next challenge is chosen by the winner of the last mundane challenge winner and the mundane abstract subject is the same. As the winner of the last mundane challenge, Debs @dibzgreasley has chosen the new mundane object which is cup/mug.
Your abstract image must differ from your mundane image, so you cannot double tag your posts. You can be more imaginative in the use of the item for this abstract challenge. You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to create an image of this mundane object in an abstract way.
You may enter as many photos on the subject as you'd like, but they need to be taken during the challenge time frame to be considered for a finalist. To see other entries go to: http://365project.org/tags/abstract-cupmug

The challenge dates are the same as the mundane dates, so we can start today: Friday, August 14, 2015 and will run until Friday, August 28, 2015. Finalist will be chosen and posted by Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Voting will take place from Sunday, August 30, 2015 until Tuesday, September 1, 2015 and the winner will be announced Wednesday, September 2nd. The winner will then host the next challenge after the mundane object has been chosen.

@annied I think the only thing left to do is select the finalist and count the votes. Not sure because I have never hosted before. :) Thank you so much for helping me out. It takes some pressure off of me right now.
