I am amazed that my 'Three Cheers for Babies' picture got such a wonderful response (29 Favs, 75 comments and 461 views), the best support any photograph has been given. It comes from a country where I have spent a great deal of time and which is close to my heart, Burkina Faso. It is one of the poorest countries in the world and I love using the pics I took there to raise awareness of this little known place. So, special thanks for the lovely response from fellow 365ers... I am somehow reassured that these human subjects did better than the trees and parrots from my collection :-D. BIG THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT - it means a lot to me on this one.
:D It's well deserved! Not all of us will be able to travel to these beautiful places, or interact with the people there. Your images help personalize them, their experiences, and how they live. It provides a new dimension to our own lives. So, thank you for sharing your pictures and taking the time to answer questions.
miranda, you deserve all that and more. your photographs from distant cultures and places are inspiring and important. i look forward to seeing them all, even if i don't have time to comment on each one.
