HI all, glad to be the host of this round of abstract challenge, taking abstract photos can be a new way of seeing your surroundings using framing to lose context to concentrate on shapes, forms, , the interplay of light and shadow on surfaces, closeups and details that you might not notice otherwise , and/or to trick the eye , it can be a very creative and artistic genre of photography. .
Abstract 53 is back dated to the end of the last abstract challenge which was April 22
finishing May 20
So go through your albums and be sure to tag any abstract photos you have taken in the last week and be on the lookout for more!
For this challenge we are looking for images that you saw as abstracts whilst you were taking them. Whilst processing for colour, contrast, black and white conversion is ok here .. there is the etsooi challenge for making up abstract images by post processing ( currently that tag is etsooi-130)
