Many thanks to Kathryn @kametty for hosting the 41st round of the Minimal Challenge and thanks also to all who participated and those who took the time to view and vote on the finalists. It is my honour to have had my image chosen and so it falls to me to host round 42.
I have chosen "shoes" as the subject for this round. Sandals or boots would also qualify.
Minimalism is the art of less is more. Minimalist photography uses the minimum amount of components such as colour, shape, line and texture to emphasize the subject matter and 'negative space' can play a big part in minimalist images. Try to create photos that cut through the clutter by emphasizing the essentials such as clean lines and empty spaces.
Only photographs taken between these dates are eligible for the challenge. You can enter as often as you like but, of course, only one image may be chosen as a finalist.
If you are able to post your pictures below, in addition to tagging for the challenge, it would be appreciated. That would refresh the thread and keep it from dropping out of sight.
