Collage those Forgotten Favorites

March 17th, 2024
Thank you Joanne @gardencat for hosting the previous MFPIAC challenge. I was very pleased to have won.
My apologies for the delay in starting the next challenge. Been struggling to keep up with my photography lately, but here we go! I’ve been doing a lot of photo sorting lately as I’m adopting a new back-up system. Sorting through old photos I find lots to delete but I also am pleased to find photos that are particular favorites that I had forgotten. So the theme for MFPIAC-129 is Favorite Photos. Look back and find those photos you were especially happy with and use them in a collage.

You need to arrange your 6 photographs in a collage. The photographs can be taken specifically for the collage challenge, taken from your archives or your own 365 albums. BUT for every image, you must have clicked the shutter and taken the pictures yourself.

Placing photographs in a collage is a powerful way to present thematically connected images. A carefully considered and well-designed collage gives the images a power that they might not otherwise have had when viewed separately.

Your collage can be any shape, but MUST contain only 6 photos.

There are many photo collage making tools and apps; PhotoCollage, PicCollage, PiZapare , PicsArt. Picmonkey, Ipiccy, Befunky and Moldiv. There are free to use web collage makers and Photoshop and Affinity can build collages, as I'm sure other editing suites can. (I've just copied these from the previous challenge so I hope they are still all out there and available.)

Closing date will be April 13, 2024 giving you plenty of time to look through your albums or take new photos specifically for this round.

Good idea. I’m going through my collection and like you deleting thousands. And finding long forgotten jewels.
