(Please VOTE) Family Door Off

March 16th, 2011
Nat
Last week Graham won the Family Bridge Off by a whisker making it One all.

This week Graham Harcombe (@ellida) set our theme of "A door with character".
Check out Graham Harcombe 365 album he's a landscape legend.

Here are our photos:
Nat's Mini

A British motoring icon.

Graham's Bricked up door

A totally run down old pub.

Remember we were looking for a door with character, not just a pretty photo!

The first person to vote gets to pick our challenge for next week.

Graham gets my vote. The key word in my decision making was "character".

@vaderkip Vaderkip, you are the first to vote, get your thinking cap on, you get to choose the subject of next week’s challenge.

Go easy on us and don’t make Graham take another photo of a cheap door you can buy from the local hardware store which will probably become part of our Guy Fawkes Night celebration on the 5th November ;-)

Thank you all for voting for my picture. Sadly I had far too many of these to choose from.

I'm voting for Nat as I love his colour selection.
March 16th, 2011
Graham. It just caught my eye and had more character.
March 16th, 2011
I vote for Nat's. Love the colors and the feeling of going back to a different era. Maybe you should let whoever has the last vote choose your next theme...

ok I just saw the post where the first person voting picks the theme. lol...
March 16th, 2011
@natsnell LOL, when do you want an topic by?

@vaderkip Graham (@mrgtrueman) will probably count up the votes on Friday and at the rate people are showing their love for his junk he is going to own me on this one. So I would say you could think about it until Friday.
March 16th, 2011
You two make voting so difficult! I find it interesting that both doors ended up being the same color though. Haha!!

I am going to have to go with Graham's.
March 16th, 2011
Graham. but I do like them both.
March 16th, 2011
Hmmmm. I'm sorry but I'm not sure my vote will even count at this point but I'm digging the little car. Nat you've got my vote.
March 16th, 2011

@lbaker @tmoore @michelletyre @lislee75 @carajill
Glad to see some people with good taste. I’m not sure how all them others could have overlooked such renowned character of the classic mini coupled with the thoughtful composition… and it’s shiny, I washed it especially for its photo.
March 16th, 2011
Based on the 'character' element - I have to go for Graham's.
March 16th, 2011
Well I was going to say Nat's, because I prefer the photo, but if it's character you're looking for - I'm going to have say Graham's then.
March 16th, 2011
I like Graham's!
March 16th, 2011
Both are great, but Graham's is better as far as a "find," giving it more character.
March 16th, 2011
I like the color in Nats, but Grahams is catching my eye more.. both are great shots!
March 16th, 2011

I don't think we need to count up the votes. Graham did exceptionally well this week.

If I have to stay within the parameters of "character", then I have to go with Graham's... too bad too because I really like the Mini.
