The Contrary Virtues were derived from the Psychomachia ("Battle for the Soul"), an epic poem written by Prudentius (c. 410). Practicing these virtues is alledged to protect one against temptation toward the Seven Deadly Sins: humility against pride, kindness against envy, abstinence against gluttony, chastity against lust, patience against anger, generosity against greed, and diligence against sloth.
@mjkthorpe The list I am using also goes against the 7 deadly sins and i've sourced the kanji symbols for them, but feel free to go with whichever list you think works best :D
@cazink I think I will give it a try, but no more selfportraits. I am done with the modeling thing haha So we go with the 7 virtues liested at the beginning?
ok, not much thought went in because I hadn't seen this theme yet, but i do think it's perfect for charity - we always give seagulls our leftovers!! lol
@mjkthorpe I have just discovered I can control my camara's ISO, so no more noisy pictures! This is being a great experience for me so far and hope I keep on learning =)
The "7 Heavenly Virtues Challenge" is over! Now what?
I will print my photos from HOP, JUCTICE, PRUDENCE and TEMPERANCE and frame them all together. I really ended up enjoying this challenge and learned a lot again!
@andrebarrande Oh. :) Well, my camera is broken right now anyways.. which is why I havent been on here in a long time. Im in search for a new one.. its tough because Im picky and a bit cheap! :) Well, Thrifty anyways.

This photo reminds me of myself in my childhood. I have always been quite brave and would enter dark rooms or go down to basements hehe
i feel kinda guilty that im doing the other list now- ah well.
