So i was thinking of possibly starting a challenge? I've never really been involved with many challenges and i thought maybe starting one would help me get more involved with the people on here! So heres my proposal.. i was thinking, Running January 1st till January 8 with bringing in the new year with some good ol' SOOC photos! i know we all love our photoshop... but with the new year comes new challenges, and i was thinking this one would be both challenging and fun! Photos of anything you take could be shared, as long as they are SOOC. But we'd have to be honest! by lying you'd only be cheating yourself... so whos in? i would like to know who's all interested! comment your thoughts :)
I did a week of sooc back in October with @orangecrush and a few others. It was fun and I would be up to doing it again. You'll have to remind me though... 1st Jan is still 2 weeks away with a lot in between ;)
just went through nearly my entire project and realize i have maybe three pics that are SOOC. i love photoshop way too much to even consider this challenge. it's a rarity i get an image that spot on SOOC, like the below...
I'm not a huge editing fan. I'm still learning so I really enjoy when I feel I get a good shot SOOC. I had several I wanted to post but I'll just do one...my latest. I was happy with the props, the lighting, and the overall goal was accomplished in this one...to give a little humor. My comments read: Walter seems to get the hang of this gift wrapping stuff but, Animal???...not so much.
@shyanewiegers Im not very good at all this so not very familiar with all the terminology so can you tell me what SOOC is please lol? Is it where no editing etc has been done on the photo??
Pretty much I just use Photoshop to crop. This was shot at a 4:3 ratio and I crop things to a 3:2 ratio so technically this is not SOOC, but no other adjustments were made.
@peterdegraaff SOOC-week is the tag! there is a new thread called SOOC week, if you would like you can post your pictures from the week on there. At the end of the week i will start a new thread where everyone can post their favorite from the week.

Wow its wonderful to see so many beautiful pictures and comments of people interested in this challenge! i know January is still a few weeks away but i was just curious to see if it was actually worth suggesting without looking silly. Love the SOOC photos and cant wait to start the challenge! i will remind everyone in a new discussion dont worry.
