GIMP

Are there any of you that use, or have used, GIMP to process your photos. If so, I'm curious to know your thoughts on it and how it compares to Photoshop?

can't compare since I've never used photoshop. But I've been using the GIMP for years now. I love it.

I have it but don't really use it. I need to spend the time to learn it as I have heard it is very similar to PS

Gimp is a very good software. Recently it has been updated with many new features. The most important is: high bit depth colour.
Photoshop is still better with some more features, but for my needs Gimp is good enough. Anyway, I edit my photos also with other software.

I use it all the time to but like Francoise I haven't used PS so I have no idea how it compares!
