Many thanks to John Walton @lumpiniman for creating this exciting new challenge and for hosting the first round. It was my honour to be selected as the first winner and so it goes to me to host this next round. Thanks to all who entered and to those who viewed and voted on the final selections. For this second round I have decided on a black and white theme. When you think of food photography you think of colourful dishes presented in magazines or cook books designed to make you want to cook it, or eat it, or both. Strip away the colour and you are left with form, light, texture and tone. These elements can combine to create a powerful image and that is your challenge here. Your image can be a meal, the preparation of a meal or a single food element. Really, anything goes as long as it has to do with food. I look forward to seeing your creative images.
