I'm brand new to the 365 project! Uploaded a whole total of 3 pictures, but I have to say I am loving it and it is a very addicting project! I am an amatuer photographer and I am hoping this project helps bring out my creative side and make me an even better photographer.
Anyways, any tips or tricks you well seasoned 365ers have for me?
Perhaps how to change my Profile Picture? (Does it need to be a photo listed as a day for my 365 project?)
Welcome! I'm pretty new myself and have also become completely addicted...this is the new facebook for me :) Your first three photos are amazing!! Can't wait to see more! Your profile picture does not have to be one of your 365. Not sure right off hand how to change it, but go to "You" then "Your Profile" and it might tell you there!
Ah thank you! I was searching and searching, and just figured to ask! :)
I love your photos!
& I can only imagine that this will become my "new facebook" as well! hehe
I highly suggest participating in the Browse and Pick threads. It's a great way to get your work noticed. Just go to the bottom of the list, look at the pictures of the last poster, pick out a picture you like, right click on the url code in the share box, then go back to the thread right click and paste the code. Make a comment about why you chose the picture. The next person in line with do the same with your pictures. The info for the threads are generally under Recent Topics located on the main page. Here's a link for the latest post ( http://365project.org/discuss/general/1481/browse-and-pick-10).
Now take lots of pictures and join in the conversations. Welcome!
Welcome! Eveyones advice listed above is true so I won't repeat......have fun, hang in there, you will meet some very wonderful people here. Good luck in your project!
I am also new, I am trying to keep myself occupied as my husband is on Hospice care, and I thought this would be a good thing to do. My pics probably won't have a theme, and I am just learning. I am only using a Kodak Easy Share camera, and have to figure out lighting, etc. But I have always loved pictures, and messing with them, my walls at home look like a gallery. Anyway, I am in awe of some of the pictures that y'all have and look forward to everything!
