I recently got a new bridge camera, a Fujifilm S1730. It's muh better than my old compact and i love it, but if i don't use the flash it comes out quite noisy. It has 12MP compared to my 8MP old one.
Do you think this is the casue? Or do I need to play around with some settings?
If you have control over the ISO rating, try turning that down, as that'll increase noise if the camer'a automatically setting it high. I try and stick to 400 or below for stuff on here.
some cameras handle noise better than others. its something to consider when purchasing a new camera if you like to use natural light and take alot of low-light photography. the megapixels has nothing to do with it.
