It's interesting! :) The editing gives it a nice rough, grungy feel. I think maaaybe the sky in the middle and to the left could be darkened/saturated a bit more possibly (I'm just guessing here), but I think it looks pretty cool!
@tigervolleyball Ha, I just saw this on the latest page and posted it in a discussion. I like it...All the vertical elements and how they stand out...really cool. It looks real but not at the same time, And I love the Annies sign.
@tigervolleyball: Here's my humble opinion, for what it's worth- I do like the processing you did, but I find it hard to tell what your subject was- the signs or the sky. They both are very interesting, but becasue they are both interesting to me, they fight for attention. I also would have chosen one set of lights and not both. In other words, I would have either focused on Annie's and left the right side of the photo with sky, or the No Parking sign and the left side of the photo with sky. I don't know if you had the space to do that but it's a thought. The strength of this photo is the coloring in the clouds and the illumination of the lights, so the composition should feature those attributes. That's just what I'm thinking- it's a little different from what the other's have said. So, take it with a grain of salt as they say.
@olivetreeann Thank you for your opinion. Usually, I don't take alot of time on editing my photo, so that never crossed my mind. Sometime, I will try your ideas! :) It means alot to have you and others commenting! :)
