I visited a friend this past weekend who gave birth to gorgeous little girl. One photo turned into a complete photo shoot. Pictures came out great and not going to do a little bit of processing.
Are there any presets that you suggest? I want some nice warm, pinkish, soft effect to the photos. Also open to any other processing tips for infant photos.
IME babies have funny colored skin, ok so my niece was jaundiced so maybe my experience is a little slanted.....but as perfect as they are they do seem to have a few spots that show up in photos. Especially if the're NEW newborn and it was a natural birth.
I added a diffusion layer, some selective blurring, and decreased the saturation when I was doing some of her. Did some of her mum holding her foot in sepia.
If you want pink I'd suggest either going with a gel on the flash or adding a filter layer in ps.
PS, I'd leave the belly button out of the shot for now ;)
