Converting 620 to 120 film

June 15th, 2010
I've just got myself, thanks to the joys of ebay, a Kodak Duaflex II. It takes 620 film but I've read that you can alter the spool size of a 120 film and it will run through fine. Has anyone done this? It seems like a pretty simple option.

I have seen instructions on how to do this on a Flickr TTV group forum, can't remember exactly what they said, may be worth a search there?

Try here: http://www.whatseanwrote.com/2009/07/using-120-film-on-kodak-620-film.html. It is a chore but since 620 is no longer made it is worth it!

OMG. You're kidding? I have a Jiffy Kodak Six Twenty that I have been dying to get something loaded into it and see what it can do. The bellows are like new still. This could be interesting. Great topic.

Craig...ive loaded 620 film into my duaflex quite a few times in the last few years with no probs at all. Its pretty simple really. I havnt checked out those links, so Im not sure what they suggest, but I just shaved down the sides of the spool until it fit.
