Hi 365 friends!!!
I will soon be shooting my first engagement session for a friend and was wondering if anyone knows of good sites where I can find some good Presets for Lightroom or if you have any of your own you would like to share :)
I am experimenting with Presets and trying to find a processing style that fits me and my taste. I've seen a lot of great processing and I wonder how to get there. Any help would be great!!!!
There was a good article this month on lightroom presents and how to install them in the Popular Photography magazine. It also had a good article on Military Photographers as well ;)
Just so you know, your pictures may or may not work with all presets. All they will do is give you some adjustments based on numbers.
I suggest, if you intend to use them, that you get a feel for how they will impact the pictures beforehand. Take some sample pictures and see what happens when you use the presets. My guess is you will find that you need to tweek the settings to work for your pictures.
@rayg86 I use their stuff constantly (especially actions). The Lightroom presets are really handy too, but like you I always tweak a lot after applying any - they're really just a shortcut to shifting a lot of sliders. With their photoshop actions, I tend to tweak the actions themselves - that's the beauty of actions I guess, that one can personalize them so much. I use a lot of others too. I also love their Dirty Pictures plugin for textures - really saves time when I'm using textures. The only one I don't care for is their latest one (RadLab) - it is more for Photoshop novices, in my opinion, as actions are so much more powerful.
