I was challenged to take black and white photos of architecture from a looking up perspective. I live in a very small town with no sky high buildings. This is a photo of a preserved log cabin. I took the picture from the ground up. I liked how the light from the sun made the contrast of the logs.
@dmdfday - Diane, I like it a lot. I think you really went after the challenge! I do like the Library shot a lot too. My alternative bokehs never turned out. I didn't get time to go to the two places I really wanted to go (had to do an emergency rescue for a stolen dog one night that wasn't planned). Sorry for such a poor performance on my end. I plan to go ahead and finish your challenge this week though,
I love the lighting of this photo. My challenge for you this week is reflections. I look through your work for the past couple of months and I didn't really notice much in reflections. It can be water, mirror, or objects. I am anxious to see what you come up with. You do a lot of work with processing so I'm sure you'll have a good time with it. :)
@dlaxton Dave, I have not been able to master the bokeh myself. I practice but never get the right effect. I enjoyed your challenge. I actually set my camera to b/w for the log cabin. thanks for the push.
