Today marks the halfway point of my second 365 project. It seems to have gone so quickly! It's still lots of fun and great therapy, and your kindness, encouragement and concern have made a tremendous contribution to that, so thank you.
Lester and I went to Brighton today. What a change in the weather! It was very sunny and hot and Brighton was throbbing.
This man was busking in one of the streets in the shopping centre with his sitar. One of the joys of playing a musical instrument (incuding your voice) is the feeling of becoming one with the instrument and the music. He'd obviously entered that state and it was interesting to see the different expressions that flickered across his face as he played.
Hands up, the over-exposure of this was a mistake*
but it's given me some processing practice and made me think about when using over-exposure deliberately could be effective, so that's cool.
*Edit. 26/7 That may read as being something I'd done deliberately and later regretted, no, I'd changed to a larger aperture setting and forgot to alter exposure time to compensate. Naughty girl!
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.

Personally I think the over exposure works well with his emotions & expression that speaks his love for music. I really like the angle, too. I was impressed with this photo the minute I saw. Your sentiments about 365 are so well expressed & equal mine. I am delighted to have you as a friend, Alison ;-)
@cimes1 Carole, thank you so much for your lovely comments. I'm equally delighted to have 'met' you and to count you as a friend here.
