How to confuse a dulcimer player

... shine a light on the dulcimer*.
Working out where the strings are in light like this would be pretty hopeless if I'd tried to play it.

Lester and I went to Ikea to buy a couple of bits and pieces today. I spotted a little, goose-neck, LED table lamp and decided it might come in useful. I was trying the light out at different angles in the evening and just happened to glance at the dulcimer, saw all this going on and thought it would be fun to try some angles on it. This was the one that worked best.

Had no idea what a dulcimer was so googled it, came up with an alternative name of hog fiddle, what a name! :0)
