Love the power of the curves in this. Great aesthetic. Now they are worth picking out. Hmm! I wonder what lies behind the picking out process... What do you think? ;-)
@netkonnexion Thank you.
LOL! I think it goes something like this : "Wow, this agate slice is fascinating! Let's put it on the light table and look at it with the macro lens... wow, those curves are gorgeous, they're to die for! With those spotty bits next to them, they look just like part of a lily or a moth orchid flower. I'll angle the camera like that... now that looks even more like a flower. Loooove how Nature makes echoes. Nature is seriously cool and amazing! Yeah!"
This typical of my internal narrative when I work, which perhaps explains the challenge I face when attempting to describe it in a manner that is helpful to others! :-D
@dulciknit - No, it actually explains all! Thus...
1. Like the idea of that
2. Make a close study - worth a second look in macro
3. Look for aesthetic features - curves are favs - Yahoo - paydirt
4. What am I looking at? What might I be seeing? (These are different)
5. Experiment to bring out the best with the camera
6. Keep thinking about how this looks and what it inspires in my thoughts
7. Post processing... can we see a way to enhance the effects
