Last January my friend Shauna took her dog Sarge to a cabin for a weekend and he went missing. After a massive search that lasted for weeks she had to head back to Toronto without him. She returned several times to look and had the locals all on high alert. A few months later his body was found. He had gone through the ice on the lake. She was broken hearted. About a month ago she found this beautiful beastie who needed rescuing from the States. After trying to help the shelter find her a home in her own country she finally managed to get through all the red tape and bring Juliet to Canada to live with her. I got to meet Juliet yesterday when I went to see Shauna in a show she is performing. They are so lovely together and have truly saved each other.
