So we went to a local maple syrup festival. Holy photo op I thought to myself...Oh Canada, maple syrup, horse drawn hay rides, native drum circle...well, at a crowded festival with two kids getting out the camera isn't always the easiest option. I snapped this of G in the backyard after we got back and it ended up being the best shot of the day...although it was a toss up with the one of them petting skunk...I have been working on dof and high key a lot lately. I am slow but determined to use my camera like a pro this year. What's next...
Fabulous capture. Love your high key and your dof. Teach me! Those kinds of busy places and you really need an extra set of hands to help with the kids while you photo. I got a shot of my kids petting a skunk last year, too. Was yours alive? Ours was just a pelt puppet.
@amandal You're hilarious. Yes, it was alive but it's owner was holding onto it pretty well. Open that aperture wide up lady. Lowest number you can hit with it. What camera are you using?
