Took the girls to the drive in. The move was Despicable Me 2. Really fun movie but they were more excited about being out in the dark, seeing the stars, sitting on the hood of the car...
I'm not sure how much of the movie itself they will remember, but they will remember the night. The little one was out before the movie ended but J made it all the way through AND home in the car. (which is good as it's hard for me to carry her in these days)
I love that we still have one of these.
So old school. I still remember my first drive in. I think we saw Meatballs when I was a kid and I remember peeing in the empty popcorn bucket (when you gotta go, you gotta go:). Love the tones and grain. Very cool shot and processing!
Oh how I remember the drive in! Mosquitos, swamp, fog ... those big old machines that you put it your window that had scratchy sound! Sounds like a great evening!
@amandal Me too! I mean, not the peeing in the bucket thing, the drive in memories. No processing on this though. I think that grainy look is the iphone trying to deal with the fading light.

Ohhhhhh I am SOOO jelous!!! I hope to get to do this one day too!!! Sounds like they had a blast! It will be a forever memory for them :) We watched that cartoon as well, I LOOOVED it!!! Lol
