smelling the flowers by edie

smelling the flowers

Morning walk. She picks up every petal she sees. I try to be patient. The world will speed her up soon enough. Sometimes I would like to walk amongst the flowers like I was four again.
This is so pretty!

My boys are the same way... touching, smelling, picking up everything they see. It is a good lesson in patience. You offer a good reminder that yes, the world will speed them up soon enough... in the meantime I will try to go at their pace. Lovely shot and message!

Great pov Edie and I love the way she looks lost in her own little world. Soon she will not want you taking photos of her either!

Wonderful photo - lost in her world of being four. Great POV and detail of all the rocks on the path.

You have definitely captured the ease and peace of her world, it is of great contrast to mine too unfortunately... always rushing.

I think that when you walk with your daughter and let her pick up every petal, you are walking as if you are four again. Allowing her to see the world allows you to see it again. Plus grab a few great shots as well. Nice one!
