When I waiting tables in college, the phrase ‘In the weeds’ was used to convey the fact that you were really busy and overwhelmed. That is how I felt all day today. I had a bunch of work to get done and couldn’t because I was in meetings all day. I went to see my cousin’s modeling debut (she was great!) and felt bad because I could not stay long because I had to come home and log on to finish work. The worst part is that I really didn’t get to spend much time with my husband and the little man. Hopefully, tomorrow will be less stressful and allow me to spend some quality time with my family.
Now, if dandelions were really this color, I'd like them a lot better. I like the blue/purple tones and the detail on the little hairy seeds is awesome. Nice shot for a busy day.
My good omen of the day was when I flipped my calendar to May and the picture was a hippo. Made me think of you and little man.
