Busy day today. Work. Errands. Meatfest. Plus lots of rain, so no real time to take photos. I found this poor dandelion soaked near our driveway. Pulled out the Christmas lights to create the bokeh.
In case anyone is wondering, Meatfest is when my dad throws various kinds of meat on the grill and that is all we have for dinner. No sides...no vegetables...nothing but meat. I was almost kicked out tonight because I brought broccoli for the little guy.
Lovely shot. I never saw so much beauty in dandelions before viewing pics here on 365. There are so many different faces of this flower. However, I don't regret a minute spent digging them up one..by..one from my lawn. He he.
I am also sad I missed meatfest. Glad my family was there to represent! My friends thought it was funny that Ronies took the girls without me...told them nothing keep him away from meatfest!
@robinwarner I wish that it was my original idea, but I saw it somewhere. It did put to good use those boxes of extra Christmas lights that have been sitting in my entry closet for the last 6 months!
@mcdougall@jsl0082 Meatfest was so funny. The kids were hysterical. G and big M were being their usual goofy selves which was causing little M to laugh hysterically.
Sorry I missed Meatfest. You know how I feel about veggies.
