This has been a tough week with my poor little guy being sick. Between the worry and middle of the night alarms to wake up and give him medicine, my husband and I have not gotten more than a few hours of consecutive sleep since Sunday. Then, when we took him to the doctor today, they tested the thermometer on me so that my son would not be alarmed, and it turns out that I now have a low grade fever. I am off to bed early tonight because we have to set the alarm for another middle of the night dose of medicine. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I really do sleep with a sleep mask.
Thank you to everyone for their extremely supportive and sweet comments. My son still has a low grade fever but is doing much better today. He got almost 15 hours of sleep last night plus he has been drinking fluids without prompting and his appetite is even starting to return a little.

Aw bless your heart. I'm so sorry you're not well now. Ugh, and the lack of sleep makes everything 10 times worse doesn't it.... I really hope you get that much-needed rest. x .....This pic is truly lovely by the way...!

Argh, you have my sympathies... it's not easy when you're sleep deprived and have a sick little one, and they usually go hand in hand. I used to sleep with an eye mask too but for some reason stopped. I quite like this interesting selfie!
