What a wonderful day for my birthday! My husband and I took the day off from work, and the weather was perfect. We took my son and met my sister and two nieces at a local park to sit on a beach while the kids played in the lake. It was hotter than I thought it was going to be and I was not dressed appropriately. This is my niece who was kind enough to pour buckets of water on my feet to keep me cool . After the lake, my in-laws came to babysit while my son napped so that my husband could take me to my favorite restaurant for lunch. Then, for dinner, my family came over for pizza and cake. Afterward, my parents, sister @mcdougall, my almost brother-in-law, my husband and I sat around talking and laughing for a few hours. It was an amazing day, and I am so lucky to have been surrounded all day by my favorite people. [SOOC]
