My husband and I work from home on Wednesdays, so it is the one day during the week that we do not have to get up at 5:45 to take showers, get ready and get our son up, dressed and fed so that we can be out the door by 7:00. I love my son’s sweet little voice but hearing it through the monitor at 5:40 on the one day that we do not have to be up did elicit groans from both sides of the bed. Groggy, we dragged ourselves out of bed and ended up enjoying some nice family time. Since we were up so early, I figured that I would walk out to the golf course to try to grab a sunrise shot. Well, it was cloudy. Better luck next time I guess!
No sunrise but the texture of the clouds is great. I'm glad you could enjoy the family time despite the early hour. I am useless if my kids wake me up before 6am - like a zombie useless. It takes me like 30 minutes to get them cereal for breakfast when they wake me up that early!
