The Great Pomegranate Debate by egad

The Great Pomegranate Debate

In every relationship, there are those little things that you do that drive your loved one crazy. For my husband, it is when I buy pomegranates. He does not like them and thinks they look gross, but the thing that really pushes him toward insanity is that he feels that I buy them and do not eat them. I do confess that there have been a few times that I have thrown them away because they went bad before I got the motivation to prepare one to eat. Seriously, it takes forever, and they make a huge mess. However, for the most part, I do eat them. Today, he packed one in my lunch not prepared and without a knife. I ate it tonight, so I guess he made his point.

...so out of curiosity, what do you do that drives your mate nuts?
Great capture! I like the composition

Too funny. Fun shot. I don't think I do anything to drive him nuts. At least, not yet...still in the honeymoon phase :)

well, first of all, I buy pomegranate seeds that are already out of the fruit (at Trader Joes). And I'm sure that there isn't one thing I do that drives my husband nuts - after 27 years together he can't help but love everything about me. ahem. . .just ask him. :)

Yeah, that's a big splash! I think I do a lot of little things that make him a little bit mad, like I'll buy to much fruit and then half of it isn't edible before I've finished it...

Hmm, I know it drives me crazy that Paul always leaves this little accounting book he has on the microwave, but not pushed far back enough so that every single time I open the microwave it gets caught on the door and falls. Silly, I know. But it drives him CRAZY when I don't shut the kitchen cupboards. He'll actually get up out of bed to go shut it when he knows it's open. "He can feel it", lol. Yours is not so bad:)

..these are just too much fuss and faffing fer me..
i do believe that this box isn't big enough to list the things that drives The Boss mad..
a lil' taster: leaving soes next to shoe rack, not seeing when looking for items around house, not filling her tea up to the top... etc etc hehe but then i have a list too!

@stepheesue I do the same.. I buy them already prepared so I dont have to fuss about with them :)

Love this - so cool! An ex partners of mine loved Pomegranites and it used to drive me mad...especially finding the bits down the sofa / on the floor etc!! I found out just a couple of days ago my best friend has just discovered he hates me crunching ice...i've been doing it for 5 years and he's only just realised it drives him nuts! Time to do it even more methinks!!

@stepheesue I think that I need to start doing that for the sake of our relationship!
@pwallis you crack me up! what a great story!!
@johnnyfrs lol
@sleepdozer57 My husband and I were cracking up when we read your comment. He does not see anything when he is looking for stuff either! Drives me nuts!!
@sparkle I think if it took him 5 years to tell you, you definitely have the right to keep doing it. :P

this is an artsy photo! i like it! i think what drives mine nuts is similar to your story, lol. It is when i buy kiwis and end up throwing most of them out bc they go bad before i get around to eating them. haha. So everytime we go buy fruit not, he only lets me buy TWO kiwis!!! hahaha. He says if i eat two, then i can come back and buy two more. Makes me laugh just telling you that. lol.
