Between him turning two on Friday and us expecting our new baby next week, it is really hitting me how big my son is getting. It is amazing to me how quickly two years has passed, and I cannot wrap my head around the fact that my little baby is going to be a big brother. The last two days I have seated him at the kitchen counter with the Kindle so he can play his ‘animals’ app while I cook. I think that it is so cute that he still looks so little with just his head and shoulders poking over the counter yet he is big enough to get down from the stools unassisted.
I just snapped this quickly with my phone because my cameras we not handy, so it is not the best quality. However, as my 300th photo, this is really meaningful to me to see how much he has changed since I started this project.
He looks adorable sitting there like a big boy. :-) They do grow fast! My first two were 19 months apart and got to grow up together and are best friends still. I hope that yours are like that too. It's a nice thing to see. :-)
awww...what a big boy! It really is amazing how much they change in even just a few months. Taking constant photos really magnifies these changes. Congrats on baby #2! Sounds like it's any day now. How exciting!
Happy 300!!!! What a darling boy. Playing with apps...who'd have thought that just a short time ago. And best wishes in the home stretch to being a mommy again!
That's a wonderful part of this project when you have children! I'm only a few weeks in, but looking forward to seeing the development of our 2 year old & baby over the year. Best wishes for the coming week or so!
