Since my parents are in China and my sisters and our husbands are all dieting and trying to save money, we decided to skip the traditional Easter dinner and just grill out. We had hamburgers and hot dogs, and since the weather was gorgeous, we played catch, golf and baseball in our backyard. The kids were all so well behaved and everyone had a great time. Maybe this is just the new tradition?!

my family rarely does the traditional and this year, my mother made quiche and then opened the wine. Glad I did not expect more. Sometimes doing your own thing is so much more fun.
