My husband and sons went to visit my uncle at his fire station on Hilton Head. My son M. is currently very excited about fire trucks. Unfortunately, he was not feeling well, so his normal enthusiasm was tempered. He still had fun and was cracking me up because despite all of the awesome trucks, engines and ambulances, he was most excited about the bird’s nest that a Carolina Wren made in one of the fire man’s cubbies. Kids…you just never know how they are going to react!!
