Bribery with lots of candy...or threaten within an inch of life. ;). No, really I've never tried an "official" shoot so if they haven't cooperated I walk.:). But one of the "fails" could turn out to be adorable enough for family and friends to enjoy. Good luck.
At our local playgroup, one photographer that came a few years ago had a glove puppet on one hand to entertain the children, and the camera in the other. The children were engrossed with the puppet and all the shots were good to excellent - but I guess that takes quite a bit of practice! I love your shot, it's so natural!
hi, e. love this shot of your boys; i have lots of shots like this of my grandsons when they were young, just a few years ago.
we are partners this week for the get pushed challenge. knowing how it hectic and unpredictable schedules are with two little ones, my push for you is simple (at least i hope you find it simple enough). how about either (1) a night shot long exposure, 5 seconds or more, preferably with light trails, or (2) light art.
thank you, and i look forward to my push from you. :-)
Hahahahaha!!! Everything about this is absolutely marvellous. The attempt at cuddles, the expression on little one's face and the hand obviously trying to stop the tight hold. This is so natural and lovely I have to fav :o) xx
@5unflow3r I think that I am going to end up using it! I have not been able to get them to sit still and not man handle each other. I am getting desperate!!
tomorrow we're doing this too. not looking forward to trying to coordinate 4 of us into looking good.
